LORENZZ

Music Producer & Sound Engineer

About Me

Profile

Santiago Lorenzo, known artistically as Lorenzz, is a versatile music producer and sound engineer from Bogotá, Colombia, with over two years of hands-on experience in music production, beatmaking, mixing, mastering, and live sound recording. He also plays trumpet and has functional keyboard proficiency, bringing a performer's perspective to his production work. A graduate of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (B.A. in Music with an emphasis in Sound Engineering, 2019–2025), he has collaborated with both emerging local and international artists. Passionate about music from an early age, Santiago has cultivated a lifelong dedication to sound, creativity, and artistic growth.

Beyond his main focus areas, he also has working knowledge of audio technology, acoustics, signal flow, and project coordination, developed through his studies and diverse creative experiences. In addition to his musical background, Santiago has been exposed to the world of business from a young age thanks to his family's entrepreneurial environment. He has attended talks, activities, and forums related to business and the corporate landscape—some organized directly by his family and others by the Family Business Network (FBN). This experience has equipped him not only with artistic and technical skills but also with an organized and structured business mindset that complements his work as a producer and engineer.

Santiago is also deeply interested in—and continuously learning about—the broader music industry, including its administrative, legal, and marketing dimensions, as well as the business structures and operational strategies that support artistic work. This ongoing learning process strengthens his ability to navigate the industry with intention, clarity, and long-term vision.

Director of School Marching Band

Bogotá August 2018 — December 2019

The marching band at my school is a fully student-led, respected and significant institution. I was a member for nine years, playing various instruments and got elected by my peers as Director in my last year of high school. As the leader, I was responsible for managing and guiding 120 students, preparing them for a high-profile competition where performance was evaluated on both musicality and choreography. This role required me to oversee both technical and administrative aspects of the band, such as organizing practices, coordinating logistics, managing suppliers, negotiating with the school and parents, and ensuring overall performance quality. This experience allowed me to make critical leadership decisions independently, and test my skills in project management, strategic planning, and team coordination.
